Our Place in the Community11TH ANNUAL CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT Each year, in mid-September, our firm hosts a charity golf tournament. We invite our friends and clients to join us for nine holes of golf, followed by a buffet dinner and awards ceremony. We ask all participants to donate to a designated charity that provides support to our community. This year, we selected Support Officer Community Care. The volunteers of this local non-profit are summoned by police and fire personnel to tragedies that involve an unexpected death. They step in and help the families in the hours and days after the paramedics and police leave the scene. They also provide crisis services to the fire and police personnel that respond to the tragedies. Thanks to the generosity of our friends, clients, and staff, this year’s tournament was a great success. Through their donations, $12,500 was raised for Support Officer Community Care. Jon Sitkin noted, “This is a wonderful charity that needs our community’s support. We look forward to the generosity of our staff, clients, and friends again next year.”
